Now, GST payment using UPI, debit cards, credit cards for Raj taxpayers

Jaipur: GST taxpayers in Rajasthan now have the option to make payments using UPI, debit cards, and credit cards, in addition to the existing payment methods.

The Chief Commissioner of the Commercial Tax Department, Dr. Ravi Kumar Surpur, announced this decision, which aims to improve the payment facilities for GST taxpayers, simplify the payment process, and offer convenient payment options.

The integration of the state treasury with the GST portal has enabled this new payment facility for taxpayers. Previously, this facility was only available for VAT taxpayers, but it has now been extended to GST taxpayers as well.

Dr. Surpur stated, “This decision has been made to enhance the payment facilities for GST taxpayers in Rajasthan, streamline the payment process, and provide effective payment options.”
